Chain of survival was first raised and applied by American heart association （AHA）in 1992,which is used to describe a potential and ordere-d link in rescuing process. The link is a series of work to saving life which is carried out by a team composed with first responder, emerg-ency scheduling personnel, emergency service personnel, doctor and nurses. The earlier and more general the work spread, the highest achievement ratio patients to be rescued is.

2. Early CPR with an emphasis on chest compressions.
3. Rapid defibrillation.
